This is different

Let me know what you think

This week will be different. Below is my summary. But you can also get a feed of just these 19 points, right here.

1. Your Amazon store is just like a website. Please treat it like one. Take customers on a journey and make their life easier. Jason describes it well.

2. BF deals do make sense? I'm a big believer in right offering (product) right price, and things can fly. Deals won't make your shit product with heavy competition blow up. But Joe's analysis suggests they did make sense.

3. CVR down pre Black Friday? You probably saw advertising CVR took a dip during this period, as most of us our in that browsing mode. Adding items to 'lists'. Thanks Melissa for a mini pre BF overview.

4. Amazon ignores EU legislation. All consumers should just get the Keepa price tracking tool to see where you're being mugged off. Thanks Martin.

5. Storage solution? Ben and Elliott, friends, have been bending my ear with their tiny violins recently. "Amazon are so naughty, it's not fair." Etc etc. Amazon Warehousing and Distribution beta sounds interesting for restock challenges. Thanks Joshua.

6. Buy button on display ads. We've seen the button appearing in search results across the board recently. Amazon simply asking consumers why would they want to click more if they've made up their mind. How good are your ads and main images though? Thanks Ayesha.

7. Horrific ad copy. I regularly bend the brothers ear on what he's doing with his hair care brand atm, cus it's working quite well. Facebook ads are helping. He always reinforces the number of experiments he's running. Why don't Amazon brands experiment with ads much? Think you're gonna nail it with 1 asset and 1 piece of copy? Thanks Destaney.

8. Can all clients everywhere read this? Understand the relationship between ACoS and TACoS. Thanks Elizabeth.

9. Variations swatch in search. Crafty sellers did this with their main images before. Ensure your backend is tip top as this will certainly drive CTR up. Thanks Arqam.

10. This prick got busted. We've all hated his YouTube ads for years now. Thanks Marie.

11. Vendors prepare to be squeezed. As Amazon's profit struggles is it likely you'll see them pushing those negotiations a little harder? Thanks Martin for the tips on how to prepare.

12. Account Health Assurance. Deactivated accounts might be less common now. There's more posts on this, but Ed was first. Thanks Ed. Scroll further to see Joshua's summary too.

13. Amazon installments. With recession fears at a high Amazon might look to shift it's focus onto different incentives for customers to buy more. Rightly or wrongly. Thanks Martin.

14. Love your negative reviews. A nice breakdown from Robert on why he savoured the negative, because it taught him a lot, and the new range will be much improved.

15. Save $100k on Amazon ads each year. Posts. Still free. Still easy to setup. Still a completely wasted opportunity for most of you. Hire a VA. Recycle social content. Enjoy free traffic. Thanks Destaney.

16. Epic Amazon failure. And an incredible set of lessons to anyone looking to start. Proof that even great operators can fuck up on Amazon. Thanks Elliott.

17. The "mini store front". I'm yet to see this in action but it's an interesting idea. It might look grim and ruin the overall feel of the brand. Or it might not. Can someone show me. Thanks Patrick.

18. 2X sales by split testing titles. Can't believe I'm literally writing the same advice year after year. But here is another example, broken down nicely, on how and why you should do this immediately. Thanks Joshua.

19. Pay with Venmo on Amazon. For the American's. Never used it. Think I'd like it. Probably gonna hug tight to Wise and Revolut. Thanks Matthew.
