Another huge Amazon update email
The only way you can keep up is by reading this...
I found the best case study on Amazon's buying experience. It was a pleasure to watch and I've put it at the end of this weeks email.
1) The top 1000 A+ designs on Amazon. An impossible task, but one I'm attempting. Here's a sneak peek at some shockers who didn't make the cut. Also included belters in there.
2) Best sponsored brand video I've ever seen. May even be possible to create remotely. [Video].
3) Best Amazon storefront I've seen in a long time. This will be my next project after A+. [Storefront].
4) Negative reviews are less likely to be removed now. Don't let negative reviews melt you. Focus on rich positive reviews. They sway far more customers than a stupid negative that makes no sense. [Reviews].
5) Amazon influencer commissions are very obvious. Although I'm still not convinced influencers are working, yet. Despite them appearing on product detail pages now
6) Listing video auto-playing on the search results page. [Listen].
7) Liquid Death has the biggest brand moat in CPG. Here's why. I've stressed your moat for years now. If you're not building one, you're not existing next year. [Moat]. A+ and storefronts help.
8) Maybe software can replace PPC managers now. Facebook Shopping Campaigns. If you're relying on only software for your Amazon ads, you're a fool. It's not smart enough yet. The F1 car still needs an F1 driver.
9) A Chrome extension exploded in the Amazon world recently. For $11 a month it could be a huge and simple time saver. But this guy Joe also built a free one.
10) Boxed wine packaging immediately stands out from the crowd. It'll be copied, but who cares. They'll get nice CTRs purely for being different.
11) 32% of shoppers frequently purchase the first product listed on the Amazon search results page, up from 28% last year. Reinforcing our point recently RE ToS ads.
12) Remove subscribe & save customers from your ads. DSP only. For now. DSP features will roll over to the normal console. We saw big success with a client recently pushing S&S customers. You have to Swallow the Fish. Profit down, then up.
13) 3 reasons why September might have been tough for you on Amazon. Prime Day 2, economic uncertainty, and general lull. [Read more].
14) Red flag if any Amazon agency puts this in your contract. Such a joke.
15) 87% of consumers are more likely to buy products from Amazon than other e-commerce sites, with 52% visiting Amazon daily or at least a few times a week. See the full Feedvisor report here.
