Amazon Week 45 - 2023

Amazon friends with Meta?

Amazon's new update allows product comparison on search results page. Optimizing backend attributes is crucial for better visibility and information provision during product comparisons.

Amazon is bringing its shopping experience to Facebook and Instagram. Users can now click on Amazon product ads and complete purchases within the social media apps. This move aims to capitalize on the growing popularity of social shopping and reduce checkout friction.

Amazon is extending its grocery services to all account holders. Non-Prime members can now use Amazon Fresh for grocery delivery or free pickup, including from Whole Foods Market. The company will also deliver groceries from local shops. Prime members still receive additional benefits.

Placing brand names above product titles enhances user experience. It saves space for essential product details, especially on mobile devices where titles get truncated. This makes it easier for customers to understand the product's key features quickly.

Improve Amazon ads. By using video, targeting Total Advertising Cost of Sales not just ACOS, and diversifying ad types beyond Sponsored Products. Utilize strategies like competitor targeting and remarketing.
